Thumbs up Good OB and Endo in Columbus Ohio

Patricia Teach with Northwest OB/GYN is amazing! I highly recommend her. I was just in there yesterday and she is accepting new patients.

Diane Tallo with Tallo and Associates is just an amazing Endo. She is very caring and smart. You will love her.

Sorry for the delay, I haven't been on in a while. I haven't heard of her but I tried to go to OSU first and they gave me an appt that was over 6 months away. I found them very difficult to work with. I am going to look into a homeopathy doctor, Dr. Rosana Domingues. She comes highly recommended. It's all out of pocket though.

If you want an OB call Northwest OBGYN, they have lots of nice doctors and great nurses. She was my second OB and I stuck with her. I love my Endo too, she really listens and know a lot about PCOS.

Good luck.

I made an appt with her for October second.
I don't know if we are going to stay with her or not...She says I need to do several tests. I have already had my glucose tolerance test, how many more are there?!

Needles+me=disaster.

Thumbs up

There are several types of glucose tests they can run. Some are more in depth than others. She will most likely do a fasting 2 hour test, she did that for me. I won't sugar coat it. You give something like 11 tubes of blood over a two hour period. It's not fun but it's necessary. Just go in first thing in the morning and bring a fun book. When you are done, treat yourself to something!

I get the whole needle thing but look at it this way, it's for your health and it's only in the beginning. Don't you want to know exactly what your body is doing? Where all of your hormone levels are? That can open the door to a better diet that is specific to you, medication that will work for you. If you know what is missing you can give that to your body and become balanced.

I know you can do it. I just know it!!!!

Yeah that is very true.
I know my family doctor doesn't know anything about PCOS but she made me very upset. I was on Met for almost two years and when I started BC she took me off and said Met&BC did the same thing for my body.

As much as I hated Met, it did help me lost weight. I went from 209 to about 170. I've gained about ten of that back since I've been off.

So one thing I am hoping to get from this visit is getting back on Met.

Hi Melody:

I"m from Columbus as well. I wondered if you had your appointment with Dr. Rosana Domingues and what your thoughts were of her skills? I"m looking for an ND/homeopathy/acupuncturist in the Columbus area.

Meghan, Well you weight loss on Met is encouraging, I am seeing Dr. Tallo tomorrow for that. I am sure she will listen and treat you well, she has with me on all of my visits.

Tsarinaeleni, I don't have one with Dr. Domingues yet, I am saving for one since it is all out of pocket. She does come highly recommended by people I trust and have not lead me astray. The same person referred Dr. Tallo and I love her. I hope to see Dr. Domingues by month end but we shall see. If you happen to go, I would love to hear how it went.
