Why are there 5 china adoption threads sticky'ed at the top of this forum?
Just find it odd that there has to be five of them. Maybe just put a link to the older ones in the new thread.
Nothing against adopting from china or anywhere else, but it's not the only adoption here.

Because there is a lot of important information in all of them. There were several people asking questions so it's just easier to have them stickied @ the top. Now, if there's a way to combine all those threads in one, that would be great since there's info in every one of them about the process!
And I'm sure if someone asked to have threads w/ info on other countries stickied, it could be done!

I'll try to email Lisa and ask her to combine those threads all into one so it they aren't in your way. I'd be more than happy to do so. Or, you could try to PM her to ask but she's not around here too much anymore I don't think.
A while ago there were a lot of people asking the same questions about China adoptions so she stickied them to alleviate repeating the same things.

I understand there were/are a lot of questions on China. But 5 stickies are a lot. Like I said they all could be put into one thread.
I have nothing against China adoptions. I just don't think it needs to take up so much sticky space. There are also a lot of questions on Homestudies, cost...ect..ect...
Seems like it started off as a question and answer thread but is new more like a PG or mommies thread with a lot of chatting. (I don't know I've not read them all)
If the adoption Mod isn't around much anymore maybe we need to see about asking for a new one?

i never look back at the old china stickys..and to be honest i hardly ever read the other threads...i do think it would be helpful to have one sticky with info (cost..wait times..requir's) about different countries (including domestic) ..i think that would be great..we are looking into different countries right now for our 2nd adoption

I was going to suggest that too, Kat. I'll help out if you need more than the ladies above that have already volunteered. This is a quiet, slow moving forum but if you need me I'm always here.
As for the original question from Meme--I agree there is info mixed in with all our chatting so maybe we can condense some so no one has to read thru all our chattiness
