Default GP, OB-GYN, or Endo in Las Vegas?

Any recommendations for a good, knowledgeable GP or OB-GYN in the Las Vegas area, preferable closer to the south east or Henderson than to Summerlin? Or an endo - I can start there if I have to.

I don't know if I have PCOS. I know one of my sisters does, I think the other does, and I have many symptoms (which become alleviated if I follow a strict low-carb diet). I need to find out for sure and I'm waaaaay overdue for a checkup anyway. I'm 5'4", very heavy (wear a size 28) and am very suspicious and untrusting of doctors in general because I've had mostly bad experiences with them, even when I was only 30 pounds overweight years and years ago. (I'm 43.) The best doctor I ever had was a DO rather than an MD and I'd especially like recommendations for a DO. I have Blue Cross-Blue Shield and have the best coverage with doctors who are members of my plan, of course.

Thanks for any recommendations!

Colleen

I don't know about in the Henderson area, but I know there is a really good OBGYN near Sunrise hospital. When we were living out there all the women who were referred off base were sent to a great woman in the offices across from that hospital, but I don't remember her name! If you want I can ask my friend who used her! Not sure if she takes Bluecross/blueshield.
Also, check your book as to providers! and my mom has a good doc and the same insurance, if you want I can ask her the name of the regular doc. I think she said it's on the west side of town, but worth the trip.
