I'm a senior this year and I'll be graduationd June 17th. We have a limited amount of people we can invite this year. I feel bad for those whom I can't invite. So, I thought a few days after graduation I could throw a party. Some friends of mine are planning on doing the same thing. I have around 30 people who I would be planning to have, teachers, neighbors, relatives, friends. I just am not sure what all to do at the party. I wanted to pass around a scrapbook and have each person sign it and add a picture to it. Any more ideas?
Thanks in advance
Love,
Sarah

Buy a few disposible cameras to have lying around with notes on them for people to take pictures for you.
For your scrapbook, cut acidfree card stock in 2'' X 4'' pieces with a note nearby to have them make a statement about you.
You can then add these to the scrapbook later with the pictures.
Jenga is an all age game you can sit out on a table.
You would be surprised just who starts playing.
Having photo albums handy can make for fun remembering.(Unless you plan on hiding that from your friends )
Cold pop, snacks of your choice. brownies are always my fav!
Music and dancing for the brave. Balloons.
This is a very good chance for you to play hostess.
You won't have time to sit for to long.
My niece is grad June 7th.(I'm old!!)
So I will let you know how the photos and note cards go.
Good Luck,
Patty

When you send out the invites you can request they bring any photos of you they care to give up.
Let them know you plan on doing a scrapbook and will have paper at your place to make notes. They can make the notes at home then you can copy it over to the "good" paper.
Make sure you have proper pens. They are available at Michael's, Fred Meyer, Craft Warehouse, JoAnn's Fab and Walmart.
Spendy, but worth it.
If you have a free period, you can use the school's cutting board.
(If they still allow it)
Can you tell my new hobby?
Yep, scrapbooking.
I have a friend who is a Creative Memory Consultant.
She is also a teacher in the Vancouver school Dist(Music)
She has all this stuff available at her work shops.
If you get interested in scrapbooking, let me know.
She has workshops the first Saturday of each month from 1pm-9pm. I can't go to the June7th one due to nieces grad party.
But if you and your Mom are interested I can send you the information. Let me know.
Her products are high quality and reasonably priced.

Patty those are some super ideas!!! inexpensive too! trying to save for Disneyland lol for my Granduation
I just have gotten into Scrapbooking this past year and thought it would be an excellent way to remember my Graduation and all my family and friends that attended. I will be sure to set out many cameras! I like that idea. The words on the paper I like too and I would have fun being able to decorate the pages with the pictures people take. Im not sure if i will have a seperate scrap book for friends to sign or to have it in the same book as the one I will be putting the pics into.
my mom is a lot like you!! She too is very much into scrapbooking and goes to all the big scarpbook convention-get togethers. I have never joined her group scrapbooking but I think it would be fun for me plus it can relive the everyday stress too
I have so many pens so thats one thing I wont need to get! I'll have to have my mom bring the paper to her school to cut on the cuttingboard...I can never cut right with those things I dont know what my problem is...My moms a pro lol.
I would be interested in Scrapbooking! It sounds like a lot of fun and I would love to get some information if you dont mind. My mom would probably join too if they dont take place the same time as her scrapbooking group gets together. What area does your scrapbooking group meet? I can drive now LOL now I have something I can look forward to especially during the summer after school is out of the way. Let me know
Take care
Love,
sarah

We meet in Cascade Park.
Off SE 124th ave.and Mill Plain BLVD
I think that road is next to AppleBee's and McGrath's Seafood place.
She has a club house(old) in her home association(neighborhood) and she books it once a month so there is plenty of room to spread out.
She only charges a $5 fee to cover the rental price of the club house. Plus you get to try out her stuff. Well worth the price.
I will e-mail you her info. She is very nice and she can give you all the info you need.

Thats a great idea! I never have any luck with parties
No where to have them and no one ever wants to come to them anyway.
My graduation is on the 26th!

Have you planned your party yet?
I think I have decided to have one afterall but it might be more of an end-of-school party so that my sister and her friends can come. . . I'm not sure yet.
If you are having one what are you going to do?
