Greasy hair unless I have my period?!

Hi just wondering if this happens to anyone else - My hair has started getting greasy very quickly (ie - if I wash in the morning it'll be starting to look greasy by night) UNLESS I have my period (then I can leave it 2/3 days without washing) ..I thought it would be the other way around (greasy with period, nice without..?)

Can anyone explain why this is?
