For fifteen years I have been using a soap called Pan Oxyl Bar which comes in a 5% or 10% bar. Back in the days you could only get it by prescription but, now you can get it in stores or online. I use this soap every morning and every night. Of course when you first use it your skin will go through the "dry phase" but, once you get passed ten days or so, its a miracle worker! The two stores that I know of that carries the soap is Eckerd's and Walgreen's. If you can't find it you can order it online (
www.dermstore.com). You will see a place to search for the product. The soap should be the number one choice. The soap is $5.95 for 4 oz. which isn't bad but, that doesn't include shipping. I usually go through a bar in two to three months depending on my outbreaks which are rare these days. Also, I have been trying a topical solution called Clindamycin. You have to get a prescription for it and let me warn you it smells pretty awful but it works well. Please feel free to email me with any questions.
