Default Great Alternative to Ice Cream Sandwiches

I love ice cream! Unfortunately when I am craving something sweet and cold I tend to overdo and eat too much. Luckily my MIL told me about this great alternative. All you need to do is buy chocolate graham crackers and cool whip. I take one graham cracker and break it in half. Then I put cool whip in between the two halves to make a sandwich. Put them in the freezer and when you are craving ice cream or even chocolate, pull one out and it satisfies your craving! They are also low cal and low fat! I love these!

OMG!!!! This sounds beyond delish! I am def gonna try it! I have been craving ice cream sandwiches for months now!

I love the fat free cool whip, I keep it stocked each week, and if I get a feeling for something sweet I take some put it in a cup and drizzle some hershey syrup on it, or take my fat free sugar free 60 cal pudding and eat it together!

Thanks for sharing I cant wait to try it!

I'm lactose intolerant, so I haven't eaten ice cream in years. However, sometimes it would be nice to have something to snack on when my dbf is eating his nightly bowl of ice cream. The graham cracker with cool whip sounds perfect, especially as the cool whip is non-dairy. I'll have to try making them sometime when I get that occasional craving for ice cream. Thanks for the tip!

This is an old Weight Watchers recipe that has stayed with me for years.

That sounds great. I wonder if homemade whipped cream would work with it. I will have to see if I can get the ingredients to make them here.
