I see a great doc who FINALLY diagnosed me with PCOS and is treating my hypothyroidism. She is a GP but more knowledgable than any specialist I have encountered. Her name is Dr. Barbara Hoffman at MedYork in York, PA. Her number is 840-4800. She is so caring and responsive. My first visit was an hour and 45 min. She also is the only doc who has talked to me to make sure that my body image is not suffering and that she wants to make sure I know that the weight and all the other lovely symptoms that go along with this are NOT MY FAULT. So, anyone in central PA who needs a new doc...I highly recommend Dr. Hoffman.

Hello echic! I realize I'm responding to an old post so not sure if you're still around, but I believe I may be suffering also from PCOS. I made an appointment with Dr. Hoffman and am just wondering as a follow up if she was able to help you, if you still see her, etc.? Very tough finding a good doc.
