Hi Ladies,
I was so worried that I was going to have a horrible time getting a Dx. I called Lex Clinic East 859-258-4000 and ask for the ob/gyn dept. I originally wanted to see the Endo, but you need a referrral for that. Nonetheless, I was transferred to the ob/gyn dept and asked to see a Dr. that possessed current knowledge on PCOS. Put me on hold and ask me if I would like to see Dr. Sharon Steele. I said "YES!" Saw her that Friday. Took a list of my symptoms with me. Sent me for labs the following Monday. Dx of PCOS and IR confirmed today. Ortho-Tri Cyclen Lo and start Metformin 500mg tomorrow.
This lady is great! She is very approachable and seemed to have a great deal of knowledge on PCOS. Highly recommend her ladies!
