I believe they are a good snack if you have a taste for chocolate or peanut butter to name just two They have many different flavors. They are 100% natural.
Depending upon the store, they can be expensive. I usually look around and can find them for under $1 for one bar. Target will put boxes of 6 on sale for $4 from time to time.
I'm currently snacking on a S'More Luna Bar. It has 180 calories, 10 g protein and 3 g fiber. It contains a multitude of vitamins including A (25%), C (100%), Calcium (35%), Iron (35%), E (100%), K (10%), B1 (100%), B2 (100%), Niacin (100%), B6 (100%), Folate (100%), B12 (100%), Biotin (100%), Pantothenic Acid (100%), Phosphorous (35%), Iodine (30%), Magnesium (35%), Zinc (35%), Selenium (35%), Copper (25%), Manganese (25%), Chromium (25%) and Molybdenum (25%).
In my opinion, they are very tasty. I like them a lot and they satisfy my occasional craving for something sweet.
Yes, I love LUNA bars!
I like their combination of chewiness and the "Rice Krispie treat crunchiness" of them!
I bring them along on my longer bike rides sometimes.
Do try the Key Lime type flavor one...that's a real favorite of mine.
I also love anything chocolate and love all those flavors, of course! The S'more flavor is awesome.
I agree that you have to shop around to find a good deal on them. Thanks for the tip about Target. I didn't think to look there and now I will!

Thanks for sharing this with us. I am going to buy a box next time I go to the store. Target is not to far from me either, I love shopping there anyway lol!! I needed some more good snack ideas anyway, I been buying the 100 calorie a bag snacks and chips, because there are those days that I need something to snack on. Thanks so much!
I used to love Luna bars, but they have recently added whole flax seeds, and I can't eat those...they give me EXCRUCIATING reflux! I was so sad (and in horrible pain!) after I ate my first Luna bar after they had added the flax seeds....I can't eat them anymore

For those of us who are IR and have to link carbs and protein, luna bars can be hazardous. They are a great source of vitamins and minerals and have are soy based, which is great, but they contain too many carbs per bar. IR's have to keep their carbs to no more than 20g per meal/snack. Lunas average about 26g per bar.
