Lakeside Medical in Oxford, MI is run by DR. Steven Hartz, and he is the best doctor I have ever had.
He has been my family doctor for over 20 years, but I have been to many specialists, clinics, etc etc, and have never found anyone like him.
He listens to you, takes time with you (doesn't rush through your time), and asks a lot of questions to feel out your symptoms. He treats the whoel body and not just the sympoms, favoring natural remedies whenever possible.
The whole office staff is amazing. I wouldn't go anywhere else, and if I move, I will still go back there (and have!).
He has helped me manage my PCOS for about 6 years (including referring me to an endocrinologist to confirm his diagnoses). He is always supportive and helps me find ways to keep going and get my PCOS under control. He is always encouraging even when I'm falling off my wagon and not doing as well as I should.
