Default Great Primary Care Physician in Springfield,MO

I received my diagnosis from a PCP in Republic, MO (right outside Springfield) her name was Dr. Donna Roberts. She was the first doctor who immediately took tests to find oout what was going on and didn't try to play the guessing game. She is very knowledgeable about PCOS and has referred me on to an endo. Also she was very easy to talk to and personable.

I too went to Dr Roberts I love her she helped me in so many ways. She referred me to an endo and she also started my meds before I went to see her. I think that she helped most by listening and dealing with my problems. I know that she is only a family medicine doctor but it is a start to get some where.

I don't think there are reproductive endos in Springfield. I did find an endocrinologist, Dr. Linda McGorman. I just had my first appointment and so far I like her too.

I live in battlefield, so going to republic to see the doc would be easier for me and I've been lookin for a new pcp, mine isn't very personable. The only question I have is, is she on stjohns or cox.. I have an hmo w/ st johns

Thumbs down

She is with Cox Health. Doesn't that stink with HMO's? You find out about a good doctor and you can't see them because they are out of network. I'll ask around and try to find out about a good PCP with St. John's. I work with the school system and they use St. John's so someone is bound to know a good one.
