Anyone one know of a great reproductive endocrinologist in the Atlanta area? I have been seeing one but I wanted to get a second opinion from a great doctor. Any feedback?

I am currently going to Emory clinic, Dr. Sessions. I have heard Dr. Hasty is good with ACRM. What has everyone else experienced?

Dr. Hasty is GREAT I actualli see Dr, Denis at Atlanta Center For Reproduction. Everyone there is wonderful and they don't start of slow they are forcefull and don;t sit around waiting hoping one thing will work.
Thanks Sara beth. My experience with Emory was fine until recently. Just feel like things (communication) gets lost between my doctor and all of the residents. There are also some nurses that are not very friendly. I have heard good things about acrm.

I see Dr. Aimee Brown at Emory Midtown...obviously you want a second opinion out of emory..but for anyone else.. Dr. Aimee Brown is so kind and non-judgemental and thorough. She monitors all of my cycles and they open any day for you to come in for your checks. My first cycle clomid she gave me clomid and trigger shot with cd3 and cd12 ultrasounds. And her nurse always gets back to me when promised.

I am glad it is going well with Dr. Brown. They have been very friendly there and I think it is wonderful that it is a teaching institution. I have been seeing Dr. Sessions and she is nice and very knowledgeable. But every time I go in for US and other I see a different resident and it would be nice to have the same people all the time. Good Luck! Oh and I was going to ask you if you have ever tried prometrium instead of provera? It is the natual for of progesterone.

That can be frustrating not getting the same resident..I haven't seen any of them I always get the same ultrasound tech. Yes, i know about prometrium, but it only gives me about 2 days of spotting (taken it 3 times)..so we are trying provera this month for 10 days..because I need a good AF my lining is very thick.

Kara, I am sorry that it Prometrium did not work for you. I am sure provera will. Good Luck. I have a us this morning. I hoping I have a mature one in there. This would only be are third month of ovulating.

It went well, thanks for asking. I had one mature follicle and another that is almost there. I am taking my trigger tomorrow morning. Wish me luck. The clinic was crazy this morning, a hour behind. But everyone was nice and I saw another resident dr. Where are you at in you cycle?

I have 2 more days of provera...wait for AF Then I'm going to start on 100mg clomid and ovidrel trigger if I have any follies. At 50mg I didn't have anything bigger than 9mm.

Yes I did two rounds of clomid and then called it quits. I had the "hot flashes" really bad with clomid. But it did not produce any mature follies. My dr then switched me to femera (lectrozole) 2.5mg and that did not work, but the 5mg did. Good luck on clomid this month!

Hi, I just wanted to say I see Dr. Session this time as well! When I was TTC#1, I was seeing Dr. Roberts but was told she had stopped working at the office so I went with Dr. Session. (However now I see Dr. Robert works there again.)
Fortunately I didn't have to see Dr. Roberts for the second consultation but this time I need to see Dr. Session again this Friday to talk about next step. I hear your frustration about communications... Sometimes I call them few times before I get the afternoon phone call because I'm afraid they forgot about me! So far my experience with u/s tech and all the stuff there are good but love to hear what other places like. Let us know if you do go see other Dr. I have been to Georgia Reproductive Specialist but didn't really like it there.
