My name is Jessica and I was diagnosed with PCOS roughly a month and a half ago. I am dealing as best I can with the physical implications, but the mental and the emotional implications are rearing their ugly heads.

My husband and I recently got married in May and I desperately want to be a mother. However, my doctor told me that the older I get the more difficult it would be to conceive. My husband still wants to wait and see where we are at financially and, while I can see where he is coming from, I wish he'd be a little more sensitive to my pain. Everyone around me seems to either be getting pregnant or having babies and that is not conducive for preserving my mental health. I feel that the whole world is telling me that they are superior to me in just about everything (especially this) and I feel that no-one will ever know the heartache that I have to go through everyday. I am in desperate need of someone to tell me that it will all be okay in the end and that I will have a baby, but right now, I feel as though one of life's greatest joys will forever elude my grasp.

I feel as if no-one around me has the compassion to say that they are sorry for what I have to go through and to know that no-one seems to offer ways to help me emotionally, and that breaks my heart.

*hugs* I wish I could tell you all the things you want to hear. I whish I could tell you not to worry that you will have that baby someday.

I know how you feel, I feel the same way. I have been TTC for a few years with no luck at all. I fear too that one of lifes greatest joys will forever elude my grasp. Your definatly not alone and that in itself helps a little. Just to know that we are here sharing and going through everthing with you.

I truly am sorry for what you are going through and I wish you the best of luck when you start your journey of TTC.
