GRRR! am I out??

Well this is my first month on clomid this year with Met (see my siggie). Today is day 37. 37!!! and no O yet.

But this morning my temp went way up.... take a look at my chart.

Well ya know, when a cycle is this long BD'ing becomes a chore. We try to time it for every other day. DH has only 1 functioning testicle and he's had 2 SA's in the past...one was really depressing but the second was not too bad. I knew we should have gotten busy last night, but we were so tired and got to bed late. I thought to myself "ah, we can afford to skip tonight. What are the chances of today being my O day anyway?"

What the crap?!?! After 37 days of waiting, it looks like the day we give ourselves a break and skip BD is the day that I ovulate! Gotta wait a few days to see if my temps stay though. Now I didn't temp on Sunday, as you can see the ONLY day this cycle that I didn't temp. So now I don't now if I O'd Saturday or Sunday. I hope it's Sat. as that would put our last BD closer to O date.

I guess the long and the short of it is this....If I O'd on Sunday, what do you think our chances are this month since last BD was Friday night?

Even if you BDed two days before O, sperm can last up to 72 hours generally. Sometimes, they last longer. So...as long as your temps stay up showing O, you're not out. If your temps drop back down, call your doctor. I don't ovulate on Clomid without the hCg trigger.

Thanks WifeyC. I know I've read that sperm can last a while, I just assume that the best case scenario never applies to me. LOL I'm a bit of a pessimist. But thanks for that encouragement. My temp went up this morning. Ack! It just kills me that I skipped temping on Saturday, know I will never know.
