Guess What My Endo Gave me Today??

Hello

Guess what? I went to see my Endo today, and saw a different one. This is usual on the nhs ............

Anyway, this different Endo gave me met. I take 500 once a day for a week, then make it 500 twice a day. Any advice on what to/ and not to eat?

I too am on Metformin. I have been on 1500 mg for about a month.

I try to avoid sweets and fatty/greasy foods. If I happen to eat any foods like this I don't feel too well.

I take my pill after I have eaten my meal. This seems to keep my stomach settled.

When I was first on met, any food made me run to the restroom....but after a while it was basically fatty/greasy foods or chocolate!

I'm on 1500mg going up to 2000mg next week and the foods I found that bother me are greasy foods or high fats foods. Sugary stuff also bothers me especially soda. I haven't had a Coke in almost 3 weeks

. My endo started me the same way 500mg in the evening with my meal for 1 week and then the next week I started with 500 in the mornings with a meal and 500 in the evenings. That's the biggest thing make sure you eat or drink milk with the pill if you can. Good Luck!
