Default Guide to Common/Uncommon Ailments and Symptoms...Have a ? Look Here

It has been mentioned several times how nice it would be to have a sticky about the things that concern us during pregnancy so here it is...

Read what other PCOS'ers have to say about their experiences...

Worried that your lack of morning sickness is a bad sign?
Concerned about spotting?
Heartburn, constipation and all the other fun stuff that can go along with pregnancy (or not if you're really lucky)...if you've been wondering about it...read what others have to say...

Thanks to Jenlynn83 we have a great list of links to start with!!!

This will help out A LOT of cysters!! I wanted to add that menstrual-like cramping CAN happen during mid-pg and it's not always a sign of PTL. Obviously, get checked out, but I've had it every 3-4 wks the entire pregnancy thus far. Freaks me out every time, and every time I have a huge growth spurt right after.

Also wanted to add that vaginal Prometrium suppositories can and do cause spotting at times.

Oh, one more thing: contractions can be brought on by dehydration. So if you're having a lot of BH contrax, drink a lot of water, they'll usually go away.

This is a great idea. Thank you so much for doing this. I remember how terrified I was in the first 6 weeks because of the spotting and af-like cramps I was having. It was the ladies on here who helped me out and told me it was normal.

I'd also like to add to the concern list that if you don't see your baby at five or six weeks don't panic!

I had an u/s at around 6 weeks or so and they couldn't find the baby. Scared me for two days and I had a repeat u/s and there she was hiding out. Sometimes it's just too early to see them but it always makes us new mommies upset.

A lot of women have spotting in the first trimester- I did and the baby is fine. My doc said to watch out for bright red blood and cramping. My spotting was always brown.

I didn't vomit once during pregnancy and still baby is fine. I was nauseated though.

--you sound like me, i just found on Thursday and went to the doc and Monday and the doc couldn't see my baby - she said it may be too early and everything is OK. I too am not vomiting but very nauseous so you give me hope - thanx so much!

Okay...I have just noticed something thats been bothering me for the last couple of days. Im almost 20 weeks along, Ive only gained 5lbs so far, and Im a thin cyster so I would think that the extra weight couldnt be the cause of the following....

My little tail bone hurts, way down almost between my cheeks (TMI) when I sit for too long it aches. Anyone had this?

I know you are afraid of a BFN but there is only one way to find out. If it is driving you nuts, wait another day and then do a test. Better to know than to drive yourself crazy not knowing. I know every neg. test sucks but if you are having pg like symptoms, maybe you should test.
