Default A Guide to the Polycystic Ovary: Its Effect on Health and Fertility

[coverattach=1]A Guide to the Polycystic Ovary: Its Effect on Health and Fertility
by Fabor Kovacs, Jane Smith, Gabor Kovacs

If groups of women with irregular periods are looked at, up to 90% will have polycystic ovaries at ultrasound. Several studies have looked at populations of volunteers, and have reported the ultrasound appearance of polycystic ovaries in as many as one in three to one in five.

This book looks at the historical background of this condition; symptoms and signs; diagnostic techniques; long-term effects; in-vitro fertilization; pregnancy outcomes.

This book was very interesting. Not a huge amount of new information. Good for newly diagnosised. Not Doom and Gloom.
