 Guilty conscience....
Yesterday, I decided that I had to get rid of some of my "babies" I ended up giving away my Bunbabies...I know that the person who took them will give them a nice home, and they are only next door, but I feel guilty. One of the bunnies was "rescued" along with her sister from an ex-friend of mine who was starving them. There were a total of 5. All died except the two that I got. Well, in not even 24 hours one died. I took the other and gave it a bath and that was when I saw that they were starved. Nothing but skin and bones. I cried and cried for that bunny. I spent the next month nursing it back to health and now she is a fat little thing, but lonely so DH and I got another bunny for companionship. Four months later brings us to now and both bunnies where getting a little wild and they scratched DH and I. I just feel so bad having gotten rid of them, but they did need someone who had the time to play with them every day. I am also thinking of down-sizing the Chickerdoodles, which will be hard, since I raised them all from the time they hatched....
