I work at Metrohealth medical center in Cleveland, ohio. We were notified of a new doc coming on staff here-the notice reads:"new service for women with hyperandrogenic disorders"

The department of OB/GYN is pleased to introduce Dr. Frank Gonzalez. He has recently joined the department and has established a new program for women who have hyperandrogenic disorders. This service will provide the establishement of appropriate diagnosis, screening for insulin resistant DM, dyslipidemia, cardiovascular disease, endometrial CA, treatment of menstral disfunction, hirsutism, acne and infertility. Dr. Gonzalez has also established a research forcus in the area of PCOS

I have an appt with him Monday and will be reporting that night if he is as good as he sounds!!! Keep your fingers crossed!!!

He was great-i was with him for 2 hours!!! We have decided to hold off ttc#2 and lose some weight and possibly get on metformin. I learned so much about the disease from him - I'm really excited to get started on the Non-ttc pcos stuff for now. Northeast Ohio cysters-he's a goody...
