Unhappy Guys,

How do I get my hubby to be more involved?
I have been with him for almost 3 years... He has been very good to me and very supportive. The thing is, we are going to get married later this year and I don't think he fully understands what PCOS is all about. He knows about my symptoms and knows we might not be able to have children and he loves me anyways. My issue is I would just like him to read more about it and maybe even sign up on this board to talk to other men dealing with the same things as he is. How can I approach the subject without making him feel like I don't think he is supportive enough? I never want to make him feel like I don't appreciate him, I just think understanding PCOS would help him to understand me more.

Hope, My LW and I have been together for 10 years this year. almost 3 of those years dealing and learning about PCOS. I can tell you want worked for me was before we were told this is what she had. She had done her own research about PCOS, found many many web sites but one day when she knew I would be home she left a site about PCOS up. Now my wife is a smart women she knew I would look at her screen and see what she was looking at. What I am saying is this give him this site and from this site that is so much info to get just by one click. But you have to find a way to get him here, within just talking to him let know you would like to make she he knows everything since there is more to it then just having kids. Let him know you dont want to suprise him with that mood swing from left field making him be like whao where that come from. And if he like ill talk to him some. Remember its a life long battle now but you both can live with this as long as you talk about everything going on in both of your heads.
