Default Gyms

Tell me about your experiences with Gyms! (especially in NZ though I'd love to hear from the Aussie girls too!)

I wanted to know about price, features, and what made you stick at it. Also if anyone knows anything about Configure Express I'd love your opinion too - it appeals to me cos its pretty close to home/uni/work so there would be no excuses!

I went to a gym at high school and it was easy to do cos it was on the way home. I used to think that if I didn't go in they would yell at me as I went past lol. On days I really didn't want to go I would take the long way home so I ended up getting exercise either way! haha Ideally I would love to lose some weight, but the main goal is to be able to run 5k fun runs and things and also do some more strength training - there is only so much the hand weights at home can do!
