I see dr Thie and she is AWESOME!!!! There is another cyster on here that referred me to her. I am seeing her for fertility. There was a long wait to get in to see her for the first time, but it was totally worth it. She makes me feel very comfortable.
BTW, I seen Dr. Scheiber once. I didn't really care for him. I am sure he is a great dr, but he made me feel rushed. Dr. Thie always takes the time to make sure you understand everything and if you have any questions her nurse Patty is great!
If you have any other questions feel free to pm me.

I'm looking for a GYN/RE in the Cincinnati, OH area. Has anyone heard of a Dr. Jennifer Thie?
Thanks!
Love, love, love Dr Thie! I am the one that referred mlbarry there as well. And, it was another cyster (long ago) that referred me there.
There are a lot of things I like about her. One, she is a great listener. She will let you talk and actually listen. She lets you be the decision maker in your care. She has a great personality and is very easy to talk. Even my DH likes her LOL! I had surgery for endometriosis, and she is the one that performed it (at Bethesda). She was really caring, and actually spent a lot of time with my parents and DH while I was in recovery. She explained everything to them well and showed them the pictures, and it really made my DH and parents feel more comfortable.
If you have ANY questions, let me know!

Thanks mlbarry & Stacie M! I had seen some positive mentions of Dr. Thie around the web, but it's nice to hear from a couple of actual patients.
I checked out both her & Dr. Schreiber's websites last night. While I got a good feeling for both practices from the sites, I decided to go with Dr. Thie. Her approach sounds a little more well-rounded and not quite so strictly fertility-focused as Dr. Schreiber's. Right now I'm not even thinking about ttc, I just need someone to work with to try to get the PCOS under control.
I called & made an appointment this morning. Can't get in until Oct. 1, but I can't even get in to see my current doc until the end of Aug., so I figure waiting one more month won't hurt.
Thanks again to all who responded!

That is definitely one of the reasons I like her so much. I have not actively TTC'd and I have been her patient for almost three years. She was the doctor who finally took me seriously and did a laparoscopy to check for endometriosis, which I did have. Before that, no one took me seriously when I complained of pain. I think you will be very satisfied!
