My PCP ordered a ovarian sonogram in December and sent me to an endocrinologist who diagnosed PCOS. My PCP is also insisting I see a gynocologist because the sonogram also showed a 3.3 cm cyst on my left ovary. I am supposed to go on Thursday and my stupid irregular period has decided to show up early. Do I need to call and reschedule that appointment or just let them know ahead of time that I will be on my period?

I would say call and see what they want you to do. I was on cd1 when I had my first RE visit and she did a vaginal u/s.
