Default Had to stop taking Spiro today

Since I started taking Spiro about 2 months ago, my BP has been creeping UP despite being on BP med plus Spiro. It had gotten way too high. Doc said it would be easier to treat my BP if I wasn't on Spiro. If on Spiro, he would be limited in what he could prescribe. He gave me the choice, but I told him that I couldn't justify staying on Spiro just for cosmetic reasons and endangering my health otherwise.

He thinks maybe Spiro was making my potassium too high and that causes muscles to contract, but he didn't do any bloodwork, so it's just a guess.

I really think Spiro was helping the hair, even after 2 months. I have hair on my chin, neck, arms and stomach, and the facial area and arms were definitely sparser.

I had to stop taking it too, but because I was bleeding all the time, but it also really helped with the facial hair!

I hope there is something very soon that can just make all this hair crap go away!

(((((hugs)))))

I used to bleed a lot on it until I got a Mirena IUD. Now I hardly ever bleed.
