Default Hair cut to cover hair loss

Hi Girls

Well I need your expertise again, I’m getting my hair cut and coloured on the weekend and I desperately need a cut that will give my hair more thickness and hopefully cover up my balding spots on the front of my head think man with receding hairline … does anyone have any ideas I don’t want a short hair cut I have fairly long hair now (past my shoulders) all the hairdressers ever suggest is layers and I’m sick of layers!!! I am considering a sweeping fringe but don’t’ want something that will get in my face all the time. I’m 21 if that helps too…
Thanks

Sorry hun-- Layers or short hair is the best way to hide the hair loss. Believe me- I've hounded my aunt (who's a hairdresser) to see if there was any other way, but there really isn't. Try layers (I know) and a lighter hair colour.

Wish I could be more help.

Hi,

You probably don't want to hear this, but colouring hair can also lead to hair loss, although not in the same way. I have a friend with the most beautiful hair who used to dye it red about once a month. She started losing her hair quite badly, until she figured out that it was because it was actually breaking off, because it had been made brittle by the dye.

Just a thought. Maybe henna, or a less chemical based dye would be a good idea?

Bangs and layers can do wonders (along with a good thickening shampoo )

Dye and colouring can cause breakage NOT hair lsos that is permenant.

As for frontal hair loss I have the same and I have had to cut my hair shorter and shorter through the years I know wheare HUNDREDS of extensions around my temples and abvoe which gives me the illusion of more hair .. HOWEVER do not have a fringe cut if you have frontal loss because the temporal loss will be more obvious.

My hair loss had gone away, but i started dying my hair
i bleached it and dyed someof it black and then once a week i had to dye it blue
and well it started falling out again
is that why?
