I have not started taking medication for PCOS but have gone for lazer many times. My upper lip looks good but my chin hairs keep growing back fast. IS lazer not effective if you are not taking mediaction to control horomones?

If your hormones are not under control yet, then laser or electrolysis are not going to be very effective. The upper lip is apparently very responsive to either treatment, but if you hormones are still out of wack, the treatments maybe slowing things down but not winning the battle of the hair.

You're better off waiting till you hormones are under control before spending your money on laser (I speak as someone who did electrolysis for 1.5 years BEFORE getting hormones under control- a waste of hard earned money!)
