Default Hair loss

Ok I know that if I go through these threads and look I could probably find the answer to this but I am really busy today and barely have the time to leave this. Of course, I have an excessive amount of hair on my head. Lately since my weight has increased my hair has been really coming out by the handfuls. I know that PCOS symptoms seem to get worse with weight gain. My question is does Met help stop this or what else can I try???? TIA for any suggestions!!!

Well, I'm on way out the door to work, thus am incredibly busy too, so my short answer is, sometimes Met even out hormones and hair loss lessens or stops, or sometimes it makes hair loss way worse. No way to know in advance.

Yes, look back through posts and you'll find some suggestions. There is NO one size fits all answer to hair loss, and precious few things that actually work. Some people try spiro, BCPs, flutamide, rogaine, herbs, vitamins, special shampoos, etc. Some of those things work for some people. Nothing works reliably and predictably and a lot of people. No magic pill on this one.

Hi

If you do a 'search' you'll be able to find loads of info. I've been reading it through, myself.
