Default Hair Loss

I have noticed that my hair is starting to fall out again. Everytime I shower, I will just run my hands through my hair and it comes out, probably 10 strands or so at a time, and by the time my shower is over, the water is standing in the tub because I have so much hair in the drain. Also when I brush my hair, it falls out. I noticed it all over my clothes and in my bed.
I has been 7 1/2 months since my DD was born and I am thinking that my PCOS symptoms are kicking back in.
What do you all do for hair loss?
Should my glucophage help it? I quit taking it a few months after I had DD because it was making me miserable (sick to my stomach) and I didn't notice any bad side effects after being off of it, until about 2 months ago when the hair loss started. I didn't worry too much about it at first, but now when I put my hair in a pony tail, I notice it is a much thinner pony tail

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Oh, I talked to my Primary Care Dr. and he wasn't impressed... he said it could be stress, blah blah blah, and didn't offer any sort of advice as to what I could do for it.

WTF!? Losing hair faster after losing weight!?
Kelli, I just wanted to suggest you check out the thread at the link above- it gives an explanation about why our hair falls out after stressful events (I would say giving birth would definitely qualify LOL) and should give you some peace of mind. My hair fell out a lot after the births of all my kids so don't freak out- it is "normal"
