I'm not sure where to post this, so I'll just put it here.
Has anyone ever noticed hair loss on their lower arms? I have severe tendonitis and a 'sluggish' thyroid (which my doctor says probably isn't high enough to be putting me on meds) and my arms ache all the time due to repetitive use - like typing this - hahaha. Anyway, The hair on my arms, between wrist and elbow, has been progressively falling out. It's now noticible to me and not my imagination.
Does anyone have this or have you heard of it? Is it at all related to PCOS or anything else? I do have an appt. with my doctor, but it's not until February.
Sure hairless arms would be nice...but when it's not my norm (I've always had hairy arms) this is really wierding me out!
as weird as this sounds, i get hairloss on my arms in winter only. the dryness and cold combined with sweaters seems to rub the hair off. i love winter because i have way less hair! anyway, just a thought to consider. good luck.

Hair on the arms and legs (and trunk) ususally decreases with age. Moustache and beard usually increase as estrogen levels drop while testosterone levels usually drop a bit then rebound.
Have you noticed any increase or decrease in hair growth in your moustache or beard areas, if you have hair in these areas?
