Hair loss on BCP?

I was put on Yasmin last March, and since then have noticed more than usual hair loss. I keep chalking it up to a number of things - my hair is the longest its ever been, I only were it chin length for 5 years and the past 2 years its past my chest. Also, my hair salon told me to only was my hair with shampoo every 3-4 days since I have so much hair and its so dry. So when I do shampoo my hair, there is usually alot in the drain (enough to clog it every time!). The only physical thing I can think of is the BCP. Has anyone else had this problem when starting on the BCP? I was on it for a year in college (Orth trycyclin) but never had this problem.

I had the same thing happen to me when I started on yasmin. I had been on tons of different BCP. About a month after stopping I noticed a big improvement. It was definitely the Yasmin causing it for me.
