Default Hair loss and Diane 35

If hair loss was brought on by my trying diane -35, it should only be temperary right as my hormones regulate within the few months afterwards?

My hair as thinned out A LOT.. and I was just wondering, for those of you whom have experienced hair loss as a side effect to Diane35, have you been able to reverse the effect? if so.. how? Its been 6 months now and i was prescribed finasteride, which i have been taking for only 4 days now.. and want to stop because i want to TTC some time in the near future..

I need advice... pls!

Thanks

I actually had the opposite effect as a result of taking Diane-35 (I take the generic version Brenda-35) - my hair loss slowed right down and now my hair is much thicker and I have heaps of new growth where there used to be bald spots (on my temples). I have been taking the pill for about 15 months and I really started to notice the difference after 6 months, but after about 12 months, the improvement was really obvious.

Sorry I couldn't really help. Isn't it strange how everyone has different experiences!

I had the same problem woth Diane...I lost hair three months after starting it. I quit, hoping that would make the hair loss stop. Unfortunately, for me that didnt help. Its been 4 years and my hair is very thin on top and diffuse loss all over and I am still trying to figure out how to get it to regrow. the loss has slowed a bit, but I have little to no regrowth. I guess it triggered something in me, as I had only one pcos symptom till I started Daine. Now I have many- the worst of which is hair loss. I am thinking of trying Apri (Ortho-Cept / Desogen) after years of being off all pills to see if that helps. so far nothing else has worked. I sincerely hope you dont have the same experience. Some woman do well on Diane, but I wasnt one of them. Wish I could give you better news from my stand point. Its very possible you wont have the same experience I did. Everyones different.
