Hair Loss - Newbie! Please help

I know that this is a board for PCOS and I have not been diagnosed with PCOS. However, I have a lot of the symptoms such as: hair loss and extremely thin hair as a result, cystic acne, greasy skin and hair, hypoglycemia (not sure if this is related or not). I read about a drug called spironolactone that could help me, but I don't know where to start. I did have my testosterone levels tested a couple years ago and they were normal, but I was on birth control which could have affected it (I still am on Yaz). Can you girls offer any advice on what type of doctor I should see to hopefully get a diagnosis and give spironolactone a try? I don't know if I should see a dermatologist or endo or what. Or does anyone have doctor recommendations? I live in Michigan. I am really desperate right now. AT 26, I have been dealing with this horrible cystic acne for 10 years now and nothing has helped - including accutane. And now this hairloss has me almost completely bald. Can anyone help me find help for this?!

PCOS might be an issue or perhaps something else is going on. I would suggest finding an Internist (MD) first and they can make the appropriate referral to an endocrinologist or other specialist. A GP or Internist could prescribe spiro.
