Default Hair loss / Putting highlights in hair

Hi cysters,

I am considering putting highlights (more like streaks) in my hair. I'm concerned because I suffer from mild hair loss and am not sure if this will cause more damage.

I'm not losing as much hair as I used to. You can see more of my temple in my bangs area and I've lost a little hair on the top (crown?) of my head, but I do not have any bald patches.

Do you think I am fine or should I not take the risk? (because I certainly don't wanna lose anymore hair than I'm already losing)...thanks!!

Actually the highlighting makes my hair look a bit fuller , it hasn't speeded any hair loss, i notice the same amount of hair shed , both of the natural color and the dyed color strands seem to fall in the same quantity, what i do know is that it dries my hair up a lot so i have to take better care of it for a few weeks after by moisturizing, etc.
