Default Hair Loss Solution, well cover up really...

Alright my Lovely Ladies! I found a solution to my thinning hair. Apparently it's all migrating down to the vally of the cheeks, mount chin and slope neck. At first to cover my thinning hair I cut my hair...short. It was past my shoulders on the sides and back but the top was thinning and people could tell so! I cut it off. Two-three inches all the way around my head, which was great because thats how long the hair on the top was no matter what I did. I used the whole line of Nioxin and Nizerol and vitamis, whatever...didn't work. I got sick of it. When the hairdresser told me I should use brown eyeshadow to "camoflauge" (SP?) the bald spots (2 to be exact) I thought I would flip out. It's bad enough from the nose down I have to shave, I am over weight, ADD and apparently never having kids, could I at least keep my once bad ass hair! Apparently God has a sense of humor...but so do I so we make a good team, I digress:
I bought a wig. I know, they are expensive and look fake and blahblahblah, I swear by this thing! I bought it from the Home Shopping Network. Here is the site:

I bought the Dazzle Un-wig and it is great. It helps that some of my hair is out because it's about the same length, It looks so much better then in the picture. I feel like a new person, I feel like the old me...well the old me with saddle bags. Everyone who sees me regularly knows, those who don't have no idea. Everyone asks if I styled it differently, cut it, dyed it. If you saw me on the street you would never know. I promise I am not a sales lady, I was just deprate! Desprate to feel decent about myself, my once awesome hair and wanting to feel sexy again. I wanted to feel pretty. And this did it. Best 90 bucks I ever spent. Not to mention its easy, wash it with shampoo hang it to dry and with a brush it goes right back to the same shape.
It's a little small, but like I said my hair is cut similarly and I can let it hang out on the sides and back and no one knows, infact it only makes people think it's even more mine! I am going to try to make it my default pic, I have on a black suit and a window behind me, blahblahblah, check it out, speaks for itself! I can't tell you enough how much I enjoy this wig. They even have front fillers! Just a few clips in the front. These arent hot either! I am trying to get all this info in that might make you not do it.......great colors! Medium brown was great for me and I am a typical brunette, maybe a little bit darker, but it is great! Happy shopping ladies, I hope you get one. Takes some getting used to, but I know you will love it!

Thanks! The only reason why I won't try hair extensions is because I had a friend who had them put in for he wedding and she ended up with a scalp infection. I don't know enough about them, but they were brought up to me by my hair dresser. I hope they work out! One thing I can say is at least try this. It's cheap enough that if you only where it everyonce in a while it's okay! I know 84 bucks can be alot, but in the long run it's not that bad. It does itch a little bit but the hair is actually on a "net" i guess, it's not a closed wig where if it itches, you can't scratch it. It has squares that you can actually pull your own hair through if you want to. I just find where the opening is and stick my finger in there and itch! It does take some getting used to, when you take it off at first the top of your head feels like (when we had hair) when you could put it in a ponytail and you took it out at the end of the day and it feels sore, but it doesn't last and you get used to it. It's been a few weeks and I don't even notice it too much.
The other added bonus is I don't have to do my hair, but honestly, I think it is best if you have short hair, some of the videos show some of the girls with what I refer to as "football head" almost cone like, you can totally control that, the ability to play with it is awesome and it's really low one the maintence scale. I could go on and on, (I am a bit of a talker)!
