Default hair problem could it be pcos

Hi 2 every1 im new 2 this site & just want a bit of info on my hair problem.

heres my history, since the age of 12 ive had alot of hair on my bikini area & down the middle of my belly& a few around my nipples , i started my periods at 12 too but never had a problem with them, then i went on the pill at 16 & never had a problem with it.
ive never had a weight problem, ive always weighted 105 lbs or abit more if im lucky u c my problem is tryig 2 keep the weight on, my mum is like that too & so is my sister.
im 22 now,ive never suffered wiv acne, just maybe a few spots when i was a teen & i dont have facial hair.
does my history sound like ive got pcos or is it just me being silly

(o 1 more thing im only fair haired & skined but my grandad in spanish so do u think i could have got the hair problem from him)

let me no wot u all think

Doesn't really sound like PCOS. Almost all women have a lot of hair around their bikini area and it's not in the least unusual to have hair on the belly and around the nipples.
With PCOS you might expect to have weight problems and to have male-type facial hair by 22 -- and by that I mean at least male-type moustache growth and probably bristly growth on the chin. Some of us were shaving every day by the time we were fifteen.
Sounds as if any tendency that direction in you is pretty mild.

Thanks for your reply, i just wanted a bit of info b4 i went to the doctors, so most ladies with pcos have facial hair
theres 1 thing i didnt mension earlier is i have multiple sclerosis, & that has a small effect on the hormones, but i cant image it causing the unwanted hair, but maybe im wrong
anyway thanks for your help, i think its a really good site
