Default hair removal tips...come on men...help a cyster out!

i am currently shaving with a disposable razor. it works well but i get tired of that. i bought an electric razor(remmingtons womens wet/dry shaver) but it is crappy for the face. i want an electric for the face that cuts close leaving my face sooooo smooth but i dont know what to get. also i have razor bumps that are just unsightly. any suggestions for that? thanx.

You should try Gillete Mach 3 Turbo Razors.. They are the best ones out there in my humble opinion. I have very coarse hair on the neck and chin and these are the only ones that work for me. Use Men's sensitive skin shaving gel too.

Hope that helps

Thumbs up

Thanks!!!! Just wanted to say thank you for the tip!! I too have been using the disposable razors since I was 16 (now 42) and never knew there could be much difference but WOW there is. And it had never occurred to me to use shaving gel, it makes a big difference!! I'm new here and this is my first post!! Never hand anyone to ask about such things!! Thanks again!!!

Wonderful dear hubby helped me so I'll pass on his info here.
I can't praise him enough.
Anyway. He suggested an electric shaver though he uses a razor.
My mother in law uses an electric shaver. Mine is a panasonic, for women. Maybe there are better, I don't know.
Here are the tips for electric:

Use an electric preshave, or a gel.
I use witch hazel immediately afterwards. Hubby says cleanliness is of upmost importance, especially with the electric shaver, so I put liquid soap on mine aft. taking off the "head", rinse it and pour either alcohol or w. hazel on all used parts. Again, hubby says it's the bacteria both on face and or shaver that causes bumps and problems.

I also use jergens shave minimizer because of the silky rather than greasy feel that it leaves. On my face, I use this after the w. hazel has dried. I use this all over body also.

and upon the "upper" thigh, good ol cornstarch type baby powder.

hope this helps....btw, I do this daily.

Irene
