Unhappy Hair worse during pregnancy?

I am finding that my hair growth seems to be worse during pregnancy and that after my pregnancies the hair seems to go away a little but it stays worse than before I got pregnant. Has anyone else had this happen and what did you do about it? I remember doing my shave right before my induction last time and you would've thought a SASQUATCH was in my tub with all the hair that was left to clean up after draining it!

Mine was always the opposite. During pregnancy my moustache growth slowed right down and I hardly needed to shave. Afterwards, back to a full moustache and shaving every day.

i have also noticed that it is worse for me during pregnancy. i had a laser treatment about a month before my bfp, and had great results, but as of about a week ago, its getting worse. i can't imagine how it will be in a few months....i dread it!

I'm the opposite. My hair growth slowed down when I was pregnant. Since I have been pregnant the problem seems to be getting worse.

Hmmmm...SO there is not that same connection for evceryone I guess. What are some safe hair removals during pregnancy? I looked into electrolisis yesterday and they said that with PCOS women you have to get your hormones under control before you do it bc the hormones will continue to make dormant folicles become active. I can't do that until after I have the baby! Waxing is an option but it leaves me with breakouts.

i will continue to shave.....uggggh. the dermatologist that initially did my laser said it would be perfectly safe during pregnancy, but #1, im not taking any chances, and #2, she was so persistent, it made me very leary, kwim? ill deal with the hair during pregnancy, and ill resume laser afterwards!

joy joy
