I've only got a couple of long dark hairs on my right breast so I will pluck them occassionally. My husband doesn't seem to mind, and my bras always cover them, so I don't pay it too much attention.

I totally have this same problem. Unfortunately for me, it is not just a few hairs, and it is completely visible. Even though no one sees me naked on a day to day basis, I still feel compelled to shave every morning. I also get ingrown hairs, but the hairs are too numerous to pluck, so I still have to resort to shaving.
I wish I could use Nair, but I think I am allergic, because it gives me a rash no matter how long I leave it on for. I can't afford lasering, either.
It really causes me a lot of anxiety. I'm not in a relationship right now, but I keep thinking...what guy would want to be with me once he finds out that I grow hair on my chest?? It's bad enough that I have hair on my face, which I ALSO have to shave. Wearing makeup usually covers up the "shadow" that is left behind. But I feel like a freak.
I'm sorry to have rambled on. I've been so stressed out about myself lately. It's just so depressing.

I dont think you can use Nair on your nipple area anyway...
I have this problem too, and usually I shave the little hairs off, but I just started plucking recently - I thought it would be horribly painful but it is actually tolerable.
Ahh the joys of having PCOS and high testosterone

I do too (sigh). I have an Epilady type shaver and I use that to get rid of the hair. It pulls it out at the root so it takes a while to come back and it does not come in stubbly. Not a perfect solution, but better than shaving I think. Waxing made me break out.
Hi there. It has rotating coils and it actually pulls the hairs out by the root, so it lasts longer than shaving and the hair comes in fine, not stubbly. It hurts a bit, but I am used to it now and it doesn't bother me. I use it on my arms, underarms, and stomach/chest. I don't use it on my legs because I get ingrown hairs from it but that's just me. I have not had a problem with it giving me ingrown hairs anywhere else.
I have the Remington Smooth and Silky. Epilady also makes one, and so does Braun. You can get them in any department store. I think they are around $60 or so? I think they are called "epilators".
I also have this other new shaver-type thing by Conair (Conair Hair Removal System). It uses rotating exfoliating pads and you run it over your skin and it kinda grinds the hair off. It does not hurt at all and it exfoliates your skin at the same time and leaves it really smooth. It is good if you have ingrown hair.... at least, it worked great on my legs. It is supposed to last longer than shaving, but I did not find that it did, but I have only used it a few times so far. It was $70. I would recommend it if you have ingrown hair on your legs, but I am not giving up my Epilady...
Oh good lord, the amount of money I have spent on this kinda stuff!!! Thank god for this site because I thought I was the only one in the world with this problem!!! :-)
i usualy pluck mine. call me sad but i quite enjoy it lol. it doesnt really bother me too much. its been there, since like always. its amazing how long the hairs grow as well xx
