Default hairloss-the main problem

all women that have pcos will get bald sooner or later? I read somewhere that bald females are exceptions and the causes are multiple.One cause was PCOS but is this a rule? imean pcos equals baldness?i want to believe that is not a rule and that even if i have pcos i wont go bald. So what do you think?

Hi Ela,

baldness is not the rule. Since PCOS is a syndrome, not everyone will have the same symptoms. Some have all, some very few, some are in between. So if you're lucky, baldness won't be one of your problems.

Any more luck in finding the right medication for you? How are things going?

Hi! i really hope i will be lucky regarding to this baldness problem. With the medications...well i dont know what to believe anymore.3 months ago i went to another doctor.She told me to stop the treatment that i was doing with diane35 for 3 months. Thats what i did.After this i did my blood tests and the doctor said that they are all normal except the testosterone that is a bit high. And she said that is nothing to worry because is not to high and she also told me to stay another 3 months without any treatment to see if i will have regullar cicle. When i asked her if i have PCOS she said no way. I really dont know what to believe anymore And its the 4th doctor i've been to. But how are you? do you still have problems with your hairloss? i hope you are ok.All my bests to you and your family! }{

Ela, I'm really curious as to exactly what tests your doctor ran. You did get copies of the results, didn't you? Please post them so we can have a look. A lot of doctors will tell you the results are 'normal' when they really aren't - they just don't know how to read them.

As for me, lots of things have changed since we last talked. For one thing, I'm six months pregnant (almost seven), for another, we're moving back to Germany. So things are good. Thanks for asking. And my hairloss stopped too. It seems it really was the wrong brand of hair coloration that I used last July. Phew!
