Does anyone have hair around thier nipples?
I never did until the last few months. Really dark hairs too and I'm fair skinned and my hair everywhere else is like peach fuzz...
Anyways, I used my pen shaver thing to shave the hair around my nipples but it isn't a pretty sight when it grows back..
How am I supposed to feel sexy for my DH when my breasts are sprouting hairs like a gorilla.
This is really depressing me...LOL...I have some hair growing on my chin and a blonde mustache that I wax. That is enough to deal with, without adding my girls to the list.
What methods do you ladies use to get rid of the hair around your nipples???
It's a sensitive area, and it's not like you can do a lot of things there.
TIA

I get 'em once in a while too, and if it's any comfort to you, I know other women without PCOS that will get some once in a while, or who ALWAYS have some, too. It's not that rare, really.
I just pluck 'em out and go on about my day.

Have you tried Veet? I know that Nair is really harsh, but I've heard some pretty good things about Veet being much more gentle. Also, my friend uses the epil stop on her eyebrows and she says that's really good and it works to keep them from growing back so fast.
I have a couple of really dark ones on my right one & I shave it. My Dh thinks it's funny when he sees me shave my boob. I used to have one coming out of my left one. Not anymore. Weird.
i get hair on both of my breasts, particularly dark around the top! i use nair, it works okay although the hair folicals can become pretty inflamed and noticeable
I get this too. I have also heard that it is normal for even non-PCOS, not particuarly hairy women to have at least a couple of dark hairs around the nipple. I like to pluck them, but when I'm short on time or whatever I just shave em off in the shower. I agree though, these do not look nice growing back in so I feel much better about myself when I pluck them.

I only got hairs around my nipples quite recently. I pluck the thicker, dark ones and trim the blonde fuzzy ones with nail scissors. It's weird because I would've expected hair on my stomach like so many of my friends have, but there's none on my stomach - just nipples. I do think it's very common though.
I have hair around my nipples and my right one has more than my left one.
It has started to be to much to tweaze, so I only tweaze the ones that are noticable to me when I am standing in front of the mirror (as opposed to looking down at my girls directly).

Got symptoms under control with no meds.
By the title I put it sounds like I have hair coming from my nipples.. ..LOL..But it is actually around my nipples. I've thought about plucking, but it is so sensitive there. Does it get irritated looking, like plucking hair from your chin? Somtimes my chin gets red and irritated.
I know Nair is so rough on my legs, it breaks me out. So I can imagine what it'll do to my breasts..lol..I'll try Veet though.
I'm glad to hear it is common, and not just us PCOSers get it.
I dont feel so bad now.
Thanks everyone for your advice.
