I'm new to the forum, but not newly diagnosed. I got my AF when I was 8 and was diagnosed in '99. My symptoms are abnormal "visits" (lasting a month or more and then only a week in between), obesity, I can never lose weight, high blood pressure, and my hair seems to be falling out in handfulls, and severe migraines (I've gotten different opinions about if they are related). I set out to find some kind of support group because I've been would about IF and recently I found out my younger sister is pregnant (she is 15!!!) and it made me realize that I might never get PG (it also made me very angry and upset). I was put on an all meat diet and metformin a couple of years ago but it wasn't working but now I'm restarting the metformin. I also just started Ortho Evra (first time to use a patch). This is starting to get long and I don't want to bore you, I just wanted to say hi.

I've had good success with Met so far, its keeping my periods normal...
