I have read through all these threads about bcp's but I still don't know what to do. I was on ortho-cept for over a year and the only side effect I had was low libido. So, I recently talked to my dr and he gave me Loestrin Fe and I became an emotional basket case! Not to mention the 4 lbs I gained in one week(while actively trying to lose.) I had to stop taking it and am now back on Ortho-cept. I HATE not having any sex drive at all! NONE!! Not to mention the stress that it puts on my relationship with DH. I was thinking of asking about Yasmin? According to this chart (http://www.wdxcyber.com/ncontr13.htm) it is in the same category as Loestrin, but has a different drug. Do you think this could help my problem or do you think something else would help better??
