I am so happy today!!! A social worker from the NV hospital called me back today and said that the policy of banning adoptive parents from the hospital for 24 hours is NO LONGER IN AFFECT!!!!!!!!!
I was so happy I cried after getting off the phone! I just couldn't even imagine not being able to be there for our little birthmother after her giving birth AND kept away from our little baby!
God totally heard my prayers. I'm so glad that I didn't listen to our agency that said, " Don't even try to change the policy. It's not going to happen." I was very happy to send her an email and let her know the happy news!

I can't tell you guys how relieved I am!!! Now if we can get our birthmom's Medicaid straightened out and get her prenatal stuff started again all will be just wonderful!!!
