I just look at the beautiful flowers that are starting to come, the sunlight from the sky, and the children outside playing with the dogs.....I am truely blessed!

Yes Ostara is one of my favorite holidays. My very favorite is Beltaine... the height of spring and the height of fertility. May 1. A very special time for all those trying to concieve. A very special time indeed.

Of course I don’t mind you asking. Ostara is the first day of spring. It is a holiday for those of us that celebrate the turning of the wheel of the year as a part of our religious practices. It is the celebration of the Earth anew when the Earth buds again and everything is new and fresh. The most similar Christian holiday would be Easter. And by the way... while I’m thinking about it. I know it is still a bit far away yet, but HAPPY EASTER.
