Should it be this bloody hard??? I've been to Big W, Kmart & Target and had better luck finding clothes in the plus size dept than in maternity. I work in an office and can't spend the next 6 months getting around in singlets and jeans but that's all I can find. Even the nice shirts that I could wear to work wouldn't work - they were all bloody see-thru and not the kind of shirt I could just put a singlet under!!!
Is it too much to ask for some decent maternity clothes that aren't going to cost as much as I make in a year????
:
okay, rant over. I guess it's back to ebay

the only other place I can think of right now is Pumpkin Patch. They have a small but nice selection. There is also Room for 2 (I think it's called) but they're a bit on the pricey side. An alternative is to buy 2 sizes bigger than your usual size.

I can sell you a little and pass on a good bit for nix, depending on your size - a lot of mine got me through a senior management position at work, so may suit your needs. Some casual stuff as well.
Myer have some nice things. Buy a couple of pairs of maternity pants in generic colours and a few nice tops and you should be fine. There are a lot of tops in fashion at the moment that are quite loose fitting so you should get away with those in a couple of sizes bigger.
Shrugs and little bolero tops are good over singlet tops at work.
I went to Myer when I was pg and they had gone out of maternity! Do they do it again?

Taking Shape is actually a plus size brand (14 - 26). Some of their stuff could double as maternity though. I wore some of their pants right through my pregnancy with Soph. I have a membership card with them but have hardly used it because their clothes are really expensive.
I wore a lot of larger sized clothes and a few things from Target. I didn't have to wear 'office' wear though.
Where do you live? There is a specialty maternity shop at Waterford (Logan) QLD. I know they have stuff there that would be good for the office.

Really I always thought it was maternity wear and I was p1ssed because its nice stuff! Gee I'll have to have a look at it now.
There is another specialist shop in Brisbane called Little Kisses, they do kids and maternity clothes. Its next to Dominoes on James St in the Valley (Brissie).
thanks ladies. I'm in Sydney and all we seem to have here is boutiques for size 8's who have cute little melon bumps. I've found a fabulous retailer on ebay (mollies maternity) that had exactly what I'm after so I'm much happier now.
