Default Harrisburg PA area doc needed

I am looking for a good PCP or nurse practicioner in this area who is size friendly, has some background in thyroid/PCOS, and as a bonus maybe knows about Cushings which I am currently being tested for. Basically I just want someone nice and knowledgeable that I can count on. I have had bad luck in losing good people. Any help is appreciated.

Amy - I see Dr. Paul Baughman on Locust Lane. I just recently started to see him, but he is wonderful, I was very comfortable with him, and he is understanding of weight issues (since he has had some weight struggles himself). I avoided doctors for years because I was afraid of getting another jerk who would just say "well, if you would just lose some weight..." but he was not like this at all, and is willing to work with me and my obgyn.

Hi neighbor! Just an idea...it may be good to see an endocrinologist for issues like you mentioned. They have more specialization with those things and can probably give better info and treatment. I have heard really good things about Pinnacle Health Endocrinology Associates.
