I don't think she is more sleepy now that she knows that she has PCOS. Not like she just got it. I'm sure she has had it for years and just didn't know.
She might be getting a cold or flu.

It's great that your wife has your support and concern.
I agree with the others, I'd encourage her to see a doctor. I'll also add that often when I'm dealing with depression, I'm quite tired. Just another thought that she could ask about....
Best wishes
Jenny

My guess is that your wife is depressed about the recent diagnosis. We all respond to the diagnosis differently. Personally, I was thrilled to know that all my syptoms had a name. Be sure her doctor is actually going to treat the PCOS and not just diagnosis it. There are a lot of things that can be done to improve the symptoms. Good luck to both of you!

Jenny ~ Nice to meet you. Truth is, my husband would probably think they should be switched. He does have WAY more energy than I do, but he's also easily bored. Smart, bored people are grouchy and tend to stir up trouble.

I was having spells of sleepiness when walking, sitting, or riding. It got so bad that I had to go to the doctor for these symptoms. Have you ever been diagnosed with a Thyroid disorder? Sometimes it accompanies PCOS and one of the symptoms is being tired all the time. Talk to your doctor if the vitamins and such don't work; it could be depression or a thyroid disorder.

Yes! Sleepiness after eating a meal with even a normal amount of carbs has always been a symptom for me. Also, I have memory loss/brain fog if I really overdo it and eat something with lots of sugar. It makes me very spaced out.
