If so, what kind and would you recommend it? I have a difficult time sleeping on my left side and I kind of need something to clutch, silly as that sounds! Thought maybe having some tummy support would help. Any suggestions?

This may not help, but when I was preggy, my mom made me a body pillow. It was just a long squishy straight pillow (like the regular body pillows you could get at Target / Linens N Things, etc.
I found that I didn't need to put it under my belly very often, but I don't think I could have gotten sleep without it. I had a lot of pain in my hips and back at points and it really helped having that between my knees and to hug while I slept.

I LOVE snoogle- it is kinda expensive, but worth all the money! I think I first got it around 10 or 12 weeks. Now I have to add another pillow under my belly and behind me, but I have taken snoogle with me when we have gone out of town, etc.

I bought the Boppy Total Body Pillow at Target. I can't sleep without it. It provides support between the knees and under the belly.

i bought the "especially for mom" by Babies R Us and i love it. It even turns into a seat for the baby when its born.

Yup I bought a preg pillow (I think I ordered it online from Target) when I was pg with Elisa and it saved me a lot of hip pain when I put it between my knees! It was especially useful in the second trimester for me.

SNOOGLE!! Had it with my 1st pregnancy and using it the 2nd time around and it was worth every penny I paid for it! I like the fact that it curves at the top and the bottom and I usually end up putting the bottom between my knees and then the top of that part under my tummy and works wonderfully!
