Default has anyone ever

gotten their af 6 weeks or later after a D&C? I had mine on march 4th and haven't gotten af yet. I am going nuts. My cycles were screwed up before this and now I think the D&C made it worse. I know that isn't possible. I just want to get it so I can move on. I called my doc and asked them about this and they said it is normal that if I don't get it in 3 mo then to give them a call. well I know I am not pregnant because we are and were using condoms. I am thinking on getting a new doc. MY doc didn't even moniter my levels of hcg in my system.

Sounds like you need a new doc. I assume most doctors wouldn't want you to miss three full months like that. Some give provera or something if you want to get into a regular pattern after an event like this. I've been lucky enough not to need a D&C, but many around here can tell you how long it took to get AF.
I see what you mean about starting a new cycle would help you to get on with life. I was very anxious for that, and I was lucky that it didn't take six weeks. ((Hugs))
Good luck!
Sheri

I think I told you this but ... with my fiest m/c last yr I was 14w 2d and had a d&c. AF came about 9 weeks later. My doc also told me to wait about 3 or 4 months b~4 I call him about it. This time I didn't have a d&c and I was 5w 6d. I m/c on 2~14 and got AF 4~7 I hope she shows up soon .... I know what you mean about wanting to "move on" {{{HUGS}}}

My first AF arrived exactly 5 weeks after my D&C. I O'd 21 days after the D&C - without meds - and then AF came after that. My levels were at 32,098 the day I found out I would m/c (at about 10 weeks along, 8 weeks' gestation).
