Sounds like you need a new doc. I assume most doctors wouldn't want you to miss three full months like that. Some give provera or something if you want to get into a regular pattern after an event like this. I've been lucky enough not to need a D&C, but many around here can tell you how long it took to get AF.
I see what you mean about starting a new cycle would help you to get on with life. I was very anxious for that, and I was lucky that it didn't take six weeks. ((Hugs))
